Day 1
Arrival at Tel Aviv
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport Tel Aviv, meet Noah Tours’ representative and transfer to hotel in Tel Aviv an overnight.
Day 2
Free Day in Tel Aviv
Free day to explore Tel Aviv and Jaffa on your own. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 3
Tel Aviv – Caesarea – Haifa – Akko – Tiberias
After breakfast drive to the ancient city of Caesarea that was built by King Herod the Great while driving along the beautiful Mediterranean coast. We will then proceed to Haifa, passing by Mt. Carmel to see the famous Bahai Gardens. From Haifa, we will drive to Akko, home of the crusaders. End the day with an overnight in Tiberias.
Day 4
Nazareth – Cana – Tabgha – Mt. Beatitudes – Capernaum – Tiberias
Begin the day with a visit to Nazareth and the Church of Annunciation. Then, continue to Cana and Capernaum, known as “The Town of Jesus”, visit the synagogue and Peter’s house. Ascend up to Mt. Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the “Sermon on the Mount”. Take a lunch break with a delicious St. Peters fish lunch. Next, we will visit Tabgha, the place where the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes took place. You will also have the amazing opportunity to see the famous mosaic under the altar of the ancient church of Tabgha. End the day at your hotel in the Sea of Galilee / Tiberias for your overnight.
Day 5
Sheikh Hussein Border entering Jordan – Jerash – Amman
After breakfast, today we will be heading to Jordan. Transfer to Sheikh Hussein Border. After crossing the border, then have an excursion to the ancient city of to Jerash. Continue to Amman for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Mt. Nebo – Madaba – Petra
Breakfast at the hotel then visit Mt Nebo, the place where Moses looked over the Holy Land and the Dead Sea. That is the place where Moses was seen for the last time, therefore we consider this place as a burial place for Moses. You can visit here the memorial church of Moses. If the sky is clear, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Jericho will meet your eye. Then transfer for the visit to Madaba. Famous for the unique mosaic map of the Holy Land, which can be found on Saint George’s church floor. Transfer to Wadi Mussa, the modern village of Petra for overnight. Overnight in Petra.
Day 7
Full Day Petra
Get ready to visit the ancient city of Petra, the capital of the Nabateans. Here you will walk through the SIQ, which is a narrow passage nearly 1 km in length. Then see the treasury (AL-Khazneh) which is carved into the red-rose rocks. Visit the other parts of the city; the Roman theatre, the temples and cemeteries of the Nabateans, Byzantines, and Romans, The Palace, The Temple of Flying Lions, the altar, and the monastery on the high cliffs of the city. You can also have the opportunity to visit the Archaeological and Nabatean museums of Petra. Overnight at Petra.
Day 8
Petra – Wadi Rum – Aqaba – Eilat
After breakfast, transfer to Wadi Rum for a 2-hour jeep tour to experience a journey to another world. A silent and timeless place where you will be dwarfed to insignificance. ‘Vast, echoing and Godlike’, that’s how Lawrence of Arabia described the uniquely shaped massive mountains rise out of the rose-red desert sand. Continue on to Aqaba, the port of Jordan to the Red Sea for free. Cross the Arava border and spend an overnight in Eilat.
Day 9
Eilat – Dead Sea
Drive to the Dead Sea area. Take this opportunity to enjoy the desert scenario, until you arrive at the Dead Sea for some relaxation and a dip in the water. Overnight at a Dead Sea hotel and spa where you will be able to take advantage of the spa facilities.
Day 10
Free day in the Dead Sea – Jerusalem
Free day to explore on your own or do an optional tour (additonal fee not included). If you prefer to stay at the hotel, you can take advantage of some extra sleep or enjoy an early spa treatment (at an additional cost) or just enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Then continue to Jerusalem for dinner & overnight.
Optional:
Do an exciting 5 hours Jeep tour in the magnificent Negev desert. (At an additional cost).
Day 11
Free day in Jerusalem
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Have a free day and get to know Jerusalem, which has 70 names in Hebrew and is known as the Holy City. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 12
Jerusalem (Old City)
Today will begin with an overview of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Then, continue to the Garden of Gethsemane, the place where Jesus prayed and his disciples slept the night before his crucifixion. Make your way to Mt. Zion where you will visit David’s Tomb and the site of the Last Supper, also known as the “Upper Room”. We continue to the Christian Quarter where you will enter the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was crucified. From there, walk where Jesus walked and make your way down Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross). The day will continue with a trip to The Cardo, what used to be a main street in the Old City during the time when Judea was under Roman rule. Go down to the Western Wall and spend some time in reflection and/or prayer. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 13
Jerusalem (New City) – Bethlehem
The morning will begin with a visit to Israel’s official memorial to the Holocaust, Yad Vashem, located on Mt. Herzl. Drive past The Knesset and the Israeli Supreme Court, on your way to the Israel Museum, Israel’s national museum, where you will see the Dead Sea Scrolls as well as a model of the Second Temple. Visit the Church of the Nativity built over the Grotto where Jesus was born. Drive through the Shepherds Fields area with time for shopping and refreshments. Drive to Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.
Day 14
Free day in Tel Aviv
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Take this opportunity to explore parts of Tel Aviv you did not visit before or relax at the hotel. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 15
Departure
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure.
